Our new A7 sized die (best to be used as a focal point on an 5 x 7 inch card panel size) is called “Library Sofa And Chair” Metal Craft Die, which creates a very pretty centerpiece on any A7 sized card. The die is designed to cut an ornate, classic or Victorian style Library Sofa and Chair set. It is beautifully decorated with a baroque top and bottom. It is a tufted couch/chair design, which reminds us of good old fashioned, long gone furniture styles, that you would maybe find in a fancy consignment store or an antique furniture shops. There are so many details on this furniture set, that there is not enough room to list them all. You have several pillows and layering pieces for the pillows, a little doggie and a little cat (both happily curled up to go to sleep on your new die cut furniture). There are details for the arm rests, the top and bottom of the furniture the tufts in the back of the cushions etc. The cool thing about this die is that it is a layering die and that all the little details can be highlighted by adding more colors and dimension. This very generously sized furniture set coordinates very well with our scene builder pop up dies in this collection, which is the “A7 Library Window Scene pop up card” and the “Classic Bookshelf” die set and the “Plant Ladder” die set. There are so many ways to expand on your little study/ library room with all these super detailed furniture pieces. This would be such an awesome card for book lovers, teachers, people working remotely out of their own study, a special colleague or someone who just graduated, became a doctor or who is going into Retirement and will have a lot more free time to settle into a cozy reading room and relax with a good book. Of course the set can be paper pieced and paper layered for beautiful dimension using all your favorite colors of papers, card stocks and of course specialty glitter and foiled papers and designer pattern papers.

Directions for metal craft die use:

1. Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
2. Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
3. These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
4. Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
