Our new slimline sized (4x9 inches) Easter Egg Carton Pop Up Card Metal Craft Die creates a very cool standing pop up card that resembles an egg carton shape, ready to hold 4 or 8 eggs. The egg carton can be created as a single sided egg carton, which holds 4 eggs or a double sided egg carton, which holds 8 eggs. It is complete with a back wall that can also be cut out to be a handle instead of a back wall. One can glue two egg cartons back to back. The egg carton holds chocolate eggs, little fillable plastic easter eggs and our favorite of course- paper crafted eggs… two egg designs and two solid eggs are part of the die set to get you started. This is the very LARGEST pop up die we have ever brought out here at Scrappy Tails. You get several decorative elements, including the overlay for the egg carton, two different pop up bridges, two solid eggs and two egg designs ready to be paper pieced together, along with three die cut words to celebrate the season with either “Happy Spring” or “Happy Easter”, complete with their matching shadow dies. The egg carton even comes with a solid bottom closure, in case you want to add your Easter grass and more solid eggs instead of paper eggs. It completely transforms into a giftable egg carton. This design also lends itself as a seedling carton, similar to how flower seedlings and flower annuals are sold in your favorite home improvement store. We can also in-vision adorable milk bottles for an old fashioned milk jug holder the way they used to be delivered to customers’ front door.

By the way …. did we mention, that the egg carton folds completely flat for easy mailing (if assembled without the optional bottom closure diecut)?. Even if you want to create a back to back 8 compartment egg carton, it will fold flat in a #9 or #10 business envelope without any problem.

Directions for metal craft die use:

1. Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
2. Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
3. These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
4. Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
