Our most beloved A7 Pop Up Book die set, which released in 2022 was ready to be highlighted once again with a fun and interactive add-on die set to give you even more flexibility and versatility with your A7 Pop Up Book die set. If you don’t have our A7 Pop Up Book yet - please consider investing in this fabulous set- because it is an amazing pop up that you can use to make so many beautiful cards for friends and family.

This hidden arm mechanism here is basically a way to add an interactive “spin” on your books- quite literally. It allows you to add small images to two hidden arms at the top and bottom of our pop up box- those images will hide away inside the book when closed and they will “magically spin into view” when the book is opened. There are endless possibilities of what you want to attach to the arms. It could be a stamped image, a die cut image, a sentiment etc. Please take a look at our premier video to see some examples of what we were “hiding” in our books. Also the box that hides the arms away- also pops up and into a box shape. You can decorate the two panel shapes as well as long as you stay within the parameters of each of the box panels. There is so much popping up & spinning about happening in these cards, that you will be addicted to making these hidden arm books in no time…. And yes, the cards still fold flat for mailing. As always- we recommend a bubble mailer and/or a note on the outer envelope that this is a fragile card/ to be handled with care, so it will not be dropped into one of the pesky USPS metering devices that like to destroy and “eat” our beautiful handmade creations.

in addition to the very cool mechanism, we are also including a few sentiments that will further enhance this set. The sentiment font is in a small “old school type writer” style and each of the sentiments comes with a shadow die and there is one frame die included as well, which fits onto the main mechanism box. The sentiments read as follows “you are #1 in my book”, “Dear Mom”, “Dear Friend” and “I am so glad you are a part of my story”

Directions for metal craft die use:

1. Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
2. Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
3. These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
4. Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
