Our new A7 sized die (best to be uses as a focal point on an 5 x 7 inch card panel size) is called “Open Book With Flowers Bouquet” Metal Craft Die, which creates a very pretty centerpiece on any card with a generously sized book that is laying in the open position and that “appears” to be dimensional based on the clever placement of the two bottom layering die pieces. From the interior spine of the book, you can enjoy a large and beautiful flower bouquet. The flower bouquet is designed to make it appear as though the flowers are unfolding out of the book, but they are actually lying flat. The flowers are gorgeous and lifelike (not symmetrical flowers) that can definitely be used in a multitude of card projects where you want a quick flower bouquet to embellish your project or cut apart the flowers and leaves and sprigs and use them individually as fillers in other bouquets of double them up and stick them in a favorite paper vase by Scrappy Tails Crafts and create a completely different look. Of course the book can be used individually as well, which makes this a must have stash builder and a die that you will pull out often for many of your projects. The pages of the books are substantial enough that you can hand letter or stamp letter a sentiment or a short message right onto the book pages. Of course the set can be paper pieced and paper layered for beautiful dimension using all your favorite colors of papers, card stocks and of course specialty glitter and foiled papers and designer pattern papers.

Directions for metal craft die use:

1. Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
2. Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
3. These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
4. Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
