Product Description:

This product includes a unique die that allows the artist to create an interactive 3D Delicate Angel ornament, which is completely 360 once assembled. The final project creates a retro style paper ornament that is reminiscent of the old origami paper crafts. Your Angel is a good sized ornament and stands about 7 inches high. You will receive everything to make a beautiful Angel ornament with all the details. You get the Angel’s head and hair piece (complete with crown) - you will receive both the detail layer and the shadow layer and the hair can be inlaid back into the shadow layer to create beautiful detail on her head. Then you will receive your lacey wing set as well as the oversized shadow layers for both wings to create a gorgeous statement piece Angel. Her skirt is beautifully detailed and can be displayed as a ruffled (pleated) skirt by using two skirt dies back to back or a cone shaped (A-line) skirt if you are just cutting one skirt piece. The skirt has a pretty pattern cut from it to allow light through the design if hung on your lid up Christmas tree or when displaying the Angel on a table with an electronic tea light under the skirt. Your Angel design options are endless. Consider using your favorite glitter, gloss or matt finished specialty card stocks, use vellum or transparencies or even parchment paper for her wings and dress up your Angel with your favorite skirt color. We recommend using a medium weight card stock for this project as the paper is more bendable and flexible, but we have assembled this Angel using papers anywhere from 65 pound weight to 110 lb cover card stock and it will work for any of those weights. We love 65 to 80 pound paper the best for this particular ornament. While this Angel was designed as a 3D, 360 degree ornament, it would sure be beautiful as a flat card design as well, by slightly cutting down on the width of the skirt and or by flat folding the skirt. If adding the Angel to a flat card design, she would look best on a larger format card like a 5x7 or a 6 inch square card. This Angel can be added to the top of our ornament base due that was released in our “Christmas in July” card kit. Also, the angels skirt folded in a pleat fashion creates a gorgeous little Christmas tree with beautiful cut out lace detail. That little tree is an extra little ornament that can be build using this die set and is an extra little bonus. Then please don’t forget to bring out your favorite Scrappy Tails Crafts embellishments and use your flat back craft pearls, sequins and craft rhinestones for added bling and dazzle. This die set is designed to work best when used in conjunction with any of our “Christmas Party 2023” stamps, stencils, Metal dies and pattern papers. Directions for metal craft die use:

1. Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
2. Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
3. These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
4. Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
