You, our customers, have requested more A7 cover plates and frames, and we have listened to you and focused this entire collection on your wishes. With the Classic Horror collection, Scrappy Tails is focusing on some iconic and classic horror/ Halloween books that have stood the test of time. We have created cover plates to celebrate these classics. These cover plates are just a tad smaller than a standard A7 card size (5x7 inches) to leave just a small decorative border around your card front panel. These cover plates are also specifically designed to work with Scrappy Tails Crafts best selling and most beloved A7 Pop Up Book Metal Craft Die. If you own our A7 Pop up Book, these cover plates are a must have addition to your collection. If you are new to our pop up books (which includes a very cool interior shadow box), then we would love to invite you to check out our many tutorials on how to create these amazing pop up book cards. They are amazing, because while they are dimensional, they can also still fold flat for mailing as a unique and extraordinary card!

The Dracula cover plate of course focuses on Dracula and includes an ornate book type frame as one would fund on vintage or old classic books. The ornate frame has elegant swirls and curves that adorn any card (way beyond Halloween). In the center bottom, we included the Dracula in his tall cape. The cape has a “Transylvania” theme layered on top, complete with a mini castle set in the moon light glow with mini clouds and super tiny bats flying about. Below the castle, you will find the outlines of the rugged Romanian mountains. His face is a side view showing his high eye brow and ice cold stare along with a tiny little corner tooth of course. We included the book title “Bram Stoker Dracula” that you can add to your design if you like.

Directions for metal craft die use:

1. Gently remove the metal craft die from it’s packaging
2. Using your favorite die-cutting machine, lay a piece of strong card-stock facing the sharp edges of the die and run the required “plate sandwich” through your machine (please note that different machines use different die-cutting sandwiches)
3. These dies are thin steel dies and they work in most available manual and automatic die cutting machines, such as your Vagabond, Cuttlebug, Gemini, Gemini junior, Spellbinder’s Platinum, Big Kick, Big Shot etc.
4. Dies work on different thin materials, including paper, cardstock, specialty foiled or glitter papers
